By Car
Take A3 from London towards
Portsmouth. Follow signs for A2043. At roundabout above A3
underpass take third turn on left onto A2043 towards New
Malden. Take third turn on left (Pressburg Road) immediately
before a roundabout. Follow the road to its end, turn right
then left into Thetford Road. Follow Thetford Road across
South Lane into Windsor Avenue. The ground is first on the
left, with big white gates.
By Train
The station you want
to get to is BERRYLANDS (zone 5). Trains go from Waterloo at
26 and 56 past the hour, and door to door it takes about
25-30 mins. The train goes through Vauxhall, Clapham
Junction and Wimbledon, and the station exit is at the back
of the train. When you get out at Berrylands, walk up the
hill past the shops, turn left at the top by the roundabout,
walk across bridge over the stream and along the tree-lined
path. At the end of the path, turn right, keeping a
Sportsground on your right. Don't go in the first entrance,
but go in the next one 10 yards past it and that's our
ground. Sounds like a lot but is only 5-10 mins walk in
total. |
